Grameen Capital Management Limited (GCML) was incorporated on January 25, 1998 as a private Limited Company with Authorized capital of TK 40.00 crore and paid up capital of TK 20 million. Paid up capital of GCML has been increased to TK 35.00 crore on October 17, 2021. The company is owned by Grameen Kalyan, a Social Business Company operating since 1996 and Grameen Fund, a not-for-profit company established in 1994 to provide risk capital to small and medium enterprises. GCML started its commercial operation in a rented space at Grameen Bank Complex, Mirpur-2, Dhaka with a Merchant Banking license issued by the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission.

• Ownership of Grameen Capital Management Limited are
  Grameen Kalyan 59.5% and
  Grameen Fund 40.5%
